The resources on this page were created to support communities and individuals to put on events or activites around our first Age Without Limits Action Day in 2024.
We were really pleased that so many people chose to support the day.
These free, downloadable activity packs and materials will continue to be available, so you can continue the conversation and to change the way we all think about ageing. We hope you find them useful.
We will be updating this page with additional resources in the build up to our next Action Day in June 2025.
The Age Without Limits campaign aims to spark a debate and conversation about what ageism is and to change the way we all think about ageing. The Action Day is a chance for individuals, communities, and workplaces to learn, take action and help change the way we think about ageing. The Action Day is your chance to make a difference.
How we are represented as we grow older can have a profound impact on other people’s beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours towards us – this is particularly important if some or all of those representations are negative or stereotypical. It’s also important that we are represented at all.
Below you will find links to the Action Day pack which contains plenty of ideas about how to talk about ageism and ‘See and Be Seen’.
A note on translation: Age Without Limits is a campaign from the Centre for Ageing Better and funded for activity in England only. We are not funded to provide materials in other languages and therefore we’re extremely grateful to Cardiff Council and Age-friendly Cardiff who have translated, typeset, and agreed to share Welsh language versions of our workplace activity pack, A4 poster and A5 flyer (see below).
